- All products purchased are to be paid for
30 days from date of invoice unless otherwise stipulated.
- All products remain the property of Entertainment
Today until paid for in full.
- Should a member attending the function or
anyone, directly or indirectly, associated with the function,
damage with or without intent, the entertainer’s equipment,
the client will be liable for the cost of these repairs or replacement.
- If the entertainer is to setup well in advance
to the commencement of the function, and due to client or venue
requirements has to vacate the venue until the arrival of the
client, it is the clients responsibility to arrange with either
the venue or a 3rd party to ensure that the equipment mentioned
is adequately secure as should any equipment be damaged, lost
or stolen, the client may be held liable.
- Should any equipment be damaged, lost or
stolen due to the above mentioned, or any other reasons, the
client may not claim non-rendering of services.
- Should any member attending the function
abuse the entertainer in any way, be it physical, verbal and/or
other, he/she reserves the right to and may decide to immediately
cease the rendering of services. This is for the safety of all
concerned.
- Should any of the entertainer’s equipment
be in danger at any point for whatever reason, he/she again reserves
the right to and may decide to cease or alter the rendering of
services. This is due to the fact that the client is responsible
for all equipment on site. The entertainer is to offer his/her
professional opinion hereon.
- Should the abuse clause be required, the
entertainer has the right to claim remuneration. He/she is entitled
to claim for the actual number of hours worked or the minimum
number of hours (whichever is greater) plus any additional expenses
incurred (transport, accommodation or other).
- Please note that this is only a last resort,
as the entertainer will be required to explore all other available
avenues before a decision is made to implement the clause. We
are concerned about you, the client, just as much as our staff.
- Should there be the unfortunate case that
your booked DJ takes ill (for whatever reason) for the day of
your function, the advantage of booking through the agency is
that another DJ of similar style and experience will be provided
to ensure a trouble free day for you.
- Our equipment is maintained to our standards
and serviced as required. As with any electronic equipment, occasionally
problems occur. Should a problem occur with the equipment, the
best attempt will be made by the entertainer to replace or make
do with this or other equipment. Should all attempts fail, we
cannot be held liable for the failure of the function.
- Please note that a power failure on site
does not entitle the client to claim non-rendering of services.
The agency and/or entertainer is not responsible for electrical
failures.
- The agency fee is not refundable under any
circumstances.
- If the function is postponed/cancelled within
one month of the date of function, you will be liable to pay
50% of the minimum number of hours for private or 1 entertainer
bookings, or 50% of the prescribed fee for package deals or corporate
clients.
- If the function is postponed/cancelled within
two weeks of the date of function you will be liable to pay the
full minimum number of hours for private or 1 entertainer bookings,
or 100% of the prescribed fee for package deals or corporate
clients.
- For all payments, please use the bank details
supplied on page 2 of the contract.
- Package deal clients, please ensure that
the outstanding amount is paid in full the next working day following
the completion of the function, so we can ensure timeous payment
to our entertainment and technical crews. Interest of 10% will
be charged on accounts that lapse longer than 14 days from date
of function. An invoice will be generated on confirmation of
the booking.
- Please ensure that the sum for all basic
costs & the minimum number of hours (or full amount if a
set fee) and travel/transport cost (if applicable) is paid into
our account prior to the function. This amount should clear in
our account by no later than close of business the Tuesday prior
to the function. Should no bank validated proof be show of a
transfer or cash deposit prior to the function, services may
not be rendered. Please remember that cheques take 7-10 working
days to clear, and electronic transfers (depending on bank) take
2-4 days to clear.
- Please ensure that the outstanding amount
is paid in full (by cash or cheque) on the day/night of the function
directly to the entertainer (or if previously arranged, a crossed
cheque made to Entertainment Today). This may be done on completion
of the function. If this is not done the entertainer has the
option to charge an additional hour (or R300 if a set fee function)
to compensate for the inconvenience.
